Yosef Krespi MD, FACS


Yosef P. Krespi, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center and Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Krespi graduated from medical school at Technion-Faculty of Medicine in Israel and completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. After completing his fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Mt. Sinai, he was Associate Professor of the Department of Otolaryngology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. In 1985, he became Professor and Chairman of the Division of otolaryngology at SUNY-Health Science Center in Brooklyn until moving his practice to Manhattan in 1990.

Dr. Krespi has published over 100 scientific medical articles, and has served as editor on two text books and written over 20 book chapters on head and neck surgery. He is one of the world's leading experts in skull base surgery, laser surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery and surgery to relieve snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Krespi is nationally and internationally recognized and respected by his medical colleagues and has received numerous awards and honors in his field. He is one of New York's pioneer surgeons in laser palatoplasty, a cure for snoring.
