BOTOX TREATMENTS
Forehead wrinkles, forehead frown lines, and wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet) are due to the over activity of the underlying muscles. These muscles can be weakened and the overlying wrinkles softened by injecting Botox into the muscles. Botox causes selective, temporary paralysis of muscles. The treatment is performed during a routine office visit. Results become visible in two to three days, and persist for about four months. In order to maximize the effectiveness of Botox treatments, we utilize an electromyography machine to identify the over active muscles prior to injection.
