CORRECTION OF THE SAGGING BROW (FOREHEAD LIFT)
In both men and women a fatigued and tired appearance caused by drooping of the outer margins of the eyebrow is often one of the earliest signs of aging. The eye appears crowded and smaller than normal, with abnormal fullness of the upper lids.

Recent advances in the forehead lift operation allows reshaping of the sagging brow, removal of forehead frown lines, and more aesthetic contouring of the eyebrows with minimal skin incisions at significantly lower risk. Visualization and surgical manipulation is accomplished via a small camera and special instruments that are inserted through a few small incisions within the scalp. Healing is rapid because of minimization of skin incisions. Incisions are nearly invisible inside the hair-bearing scalp. More traditional methods of forehead and brow lifting are still utilized in special circumstances.

The brow-lift operation may be effectively combined with the blepharoplasty (eyelid) or facelift operation or may be performed independently as an outpatient procedure.
