Arthur Lubitz, MD, FAAAAI
Dr. Arthur M. Lubitz, MD, FAAAAI, is a licensed allergist, specializing in allergic diseases and immunology. After graduating from Brooklyn College, he continued to get his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center, SUNY Brooklyn, studied internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital and completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Lubitz is board certified in allergy, immunology and internal medicine and is a member of FAAAAI and FACAAI. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Allergy Division of Head & Neck Surgical Group and is currently the Director of Allergy.
Dr. Lubitz has been sought out for his knowledge about allergies for multiple media outlets. His publications including, “Interleukin-2, Measurement in Ragweed Sensitive Patients” from The Journal of Allergy & Clinical Immunology and a case report, “Brutons Agammaglobulinemia with Low C-1 Esterase Level,” showcase his expertise in immunology. He has also been interviewed on Larry King Live, CNN, CNBC, WCBS-TV, and WOR, helping to spread his knowledge to the public. He has also been heard on NYC-AM radio.
Apart from his professional experience as an allergy consultant, Dr. Lubitz has been the Assistant Adjunct Department of Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and as the Acting Chief of Allergy and Department of Internal Medicine at North General Hospital. The professional societies that Dr. Lubitz is associated with include New York State Society of Medicine, New York County Medical Society, New York Allergy Society, and is a fellow with American College of Allergy & Immunology/Asthma. When he’s not pursuing his studies as a specialized allergist, Dr. Lubitz spends times with his wife and two daughters. In addition to following sports, his interests include communications, politics, and finance.
