Boyan Hadjiev, MD

Dr. Boyan Hadjiev, M.D., is double board certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). He specializes in allergy immunology, asthma, sinusitis, and allergic skin diseases. He graduated Magna cum laude from the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 2007, Dr. Hadjiev joined the Head and Neck Surgical Group.

Through receiving the AAAI FIT Award, AMSA National Delegation Award and being named a James B. Angell Scholar, Dr. Hadjiev has gained public recognition for his scholarly accomplishments. His published work includes articles titled “Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis” and “Urticarial Dermatitis Caused by Dental Implant Adhesive Compounds.” He was the medical expert on Discovery Channel's Timewarp series concerning sneezing and nasal congestion in a 2009 episode titled “Goop, Goo, Glop and Germs.”

Dr. Hadjiev has professional associations through his memberships in American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has also mentored students at the High School for Health Professions & Human Service in Manhattan. Coinciding with his love for traveling, Dr. Hadjiev has developed an interest in studying foreign languages and cultures.
