Eric J. Cohen, MD
Eric Cohen, MD is a board certified otolaryngologist. Although he has a special interest in nasal and sinus surgery, snoring surgery, he enjoys evaluating all patients with complaints related to the specialty. He completed both his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and, in addition, has completed a fellowship in which focused on diagnosing and treating voice and swallowing disorders. He joined the Head and Neck Surgical Group in 1996.
After receiving Alpha Omega Alpha honors from Johns Hopkins Medical School, Dr. Cohen continued his focus of otolaryngology through aiming to solve his patient’s sleep and snoring problems. He is now the leading provider of pillar implants for the treatment of snoring and his practice has been recognized as a National Center for Excellence in performing the Pillar procedure. He has proudly presented his independent research about these subjects at national and international meetings.
Dr. Cohen’s efforts as a specialist have gained him membership in the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is the Medical Director of Cure Snoring, a center dedicated to the minimally invasive treatment of sleep apnea, as well as the Co-Director of the sinus and sleep disorder sections of the New York Head and Neck Institute. Apart from his pursuit to cure his patients, Dr. Cohen enjoys playing tennis.
