Maurice M. Khosh, MD, FACS
Dr. Maurice M. Khosh is doubly board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, blepharoplasty, Botox and dermal filler injections, and reconstruction of the face and nose after trauma or cancer ablation. Dr. Khosh completed his internship and residency training at Columbia University Medical Center. He pursued fellowship training at the University of Washington, Seattle. He was part of faculty at the Columbia University department of ENT before joining the Head and Neck Surgical Group.
Dr. Khosh began receiving honors early in his career with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society in medical school. He was awarded the Maxwell Abramson Teacher of the Year Award from the Columbia University Medical Center, and the Heart Saver Award from the American Heart Association. He received the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Honor Award in recognition of outstanding contribution to continuing medical education in 2009. Dr. Khosh has had over 30 articles published, along with presenting numerous lectures, informational courses, and oral presentations. He was highlighted in a St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospital’s WeHealNY fall 2008 spread titled “Ready for a New Look: Consider Facial Rejuvenation.”
Dr. Khosh’s accomplishments have lead him to become the president of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society, a member of the Americal College of Surgeons, a member of the Education Committee for American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and an Educational Course Committee member for the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Outside of his academic and surgical interests, Dr. Khosh spends his time with his family and in pursuit of his hobbies such as running and playing poker.
