To obtain board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, each physician must successfully complete five or more years of post medical school training. Otolaryngologists have expertise in the treatment of all deep and superficial structures of the head and neck, enabling them to deal with every aspect of diagnosis and treatment for illness and injuries, as well as Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgery.

The Head & Neck Surgical Group at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center is a highly qualified group of specialists. All of our physicians of Board Certified. Each physician has had additional training in a sub-specialty of head and neck surgery. Members of the Head & Neck Surgical Group hold academic appointments at Columbia University and are on the teaching faculty of the University's medical schools. Combined, they have authored over 200 publications. The Head & Neck Surgical Group continues its teaching commitment to fellow physicians through ongoing courses in advanced surgical techniques. The fours has pioneered many new treatments for head and neck disease and continue active clinical investigation to help provide better treatment to patients.
